DeeMultiWider

DeeMultiWider is a five-band stereo imaging processor featuring a proprietary LCR separation method that differs from conventional M/S processing.

It smoothly extracts the components shared by the left and right channels, then allows the remaining non-common components to be controlled as STEREO SIDE signals while preserving their original positions. This reduces the unnatural out-of-phase character often associated with conventional M/S processing and enables natural, transparent control over stereo width.

The frequency spectrum is divided into five bands, with independent STEREO SIDE control for each band. This makes it possible to preserve a solid, focused low end while widening only the mid and high frequencies, providing precise stereo control for both mixing and mastering applications.

• Proprietary LCR Separation Method: Inherits the technology behind the best-selling DeeWider. Shared components between the left and right channels are extracted, while non-common components remain in their original L/R positions for natural stereo control.
• More Natural Stereo Imaging than Conventional M/S: Sounds positioned on the left remain on the left, while sounds positioned on the right remain on the right. Even when the Side components are enhanced, the stereo image does not become unnaturally inverted.
• Five Band Stereo Image Control: Independently adjust the amount of STEREO SIDE in the LOW, LOW-MID, MID, HIGH-MID, and HIGH frequency bands.
• Adjustable Crossovers: Fine-tune the frequency boundaries between bands to suit the source material and the needs of each track.
• Intuitive Operation: Controls are focused on the STEREO SIDE amount for each band and the four crossover frequencies, making complex stereo processing simple and immediate.
• Suitable for Mixing and Mastering: Use it to keep the low end centered and stable while widening the high frequencies, or to refine the stereo position of specific frequency ranges.
• 64-Bit Double-Precision Processing: The internal audio engine supports double-precision processing for accurate handling of delicate stereo information.
