Below are the possible causes:

• There is not enough space in the destination drive
• There is not enough space in the C drive (*1)
• There is no editing permission on Windows System Folder(usually, C:\Winodws)
• There is no editing permission on Windows Registry
• Some resident software affecting VOCALOID2 installation (*2)

*NOTE1: During installation, VOCALOID2 file is copied temporarily in the Windows system drive (usually, the C drive). Please make sure there is enough space in the C drive as well as the destination drive.

*NOTE2: Probable resident software which affect VOCALOID2 installation are, anti-virus software, security software, and mouse utility software. Turn off all the resident software and try to install VOCALOID2 again.

Also, please make sure you're logging in as administrator. To install/activate VOCALOID2 you must have Administrator rights.
