This disc boasts over 1500 house loops and one-shot sounds. While not necessarily up to the standards of some of the other Mutekki Media sample discs, Housemeister Session One certainly provides adecent assortment of well-produced samples, at tempos between 120 and 135bpm. The focus of the disc is tech・house, but you won't have any trouble using the sounds in other flavours of dance music. Aside from some great drums, there are vocals, bass and sound effects that are weil categorised and ready for action. Some sampies sound a little on the cheap side, but it's nothing a few minor tweaks wouldn't fix. 7/10
