Introducing High Grade Dub, the ultimate dub sample pack brought to you by Monster Sounds. Inspired by pioneers of dub such as King Tubby, Lee Scratch Perry, Scientist, and Mad Professor, this collection delivers a fresh and authentic sound that will let you experience the rich legacy of dub music.

High Grade Dub contains expertly performed dubby bass guitar loops and lively electric guitar loops that truly capture the essence of dub music. This collection promises to blow you away by providing the most exceptional, world-class horn section which is made up of trumpets as well baritone and tenor saxophones. The loops' tempos are between 70-140 BPM, supplying you with the opportunity to craft either slow, hazy grooves for a laid-back atmosphere, or delve into faster, danceable arrangements with tight, energetic lines.

To ensure an authentic and faithful representation of the period's analogue sound, all the instruments were recorded using a vintage signal path. We utilized a combination of old RCA ribbon mics and vintage AKG 414s, paired with Thermionic Culture valve preamps, to capture every nuance and texture. The sounds were then enhanced using a Pultec equalizer to bring out the sweet spots in the tone. Finally, the Smart Research C1LA compressor added the perfect mix glue to bring the sounds to life.

For that unmistakable dub flavor, we incorporated FX using the legendary Watkins Copicat tape delay and Space Echo Spring Reverb. The inclusion of an analog tape delay and spring reverb give an authentic classic dub era feel. You'll find both dry and affected versions of the instruments, ranging from single lines to full horn stacks, giving you the flexibility to create dynamic arrangements.

Please note that while the demo features drums, High Grade Dub does not include drums and focuses exclusively on bass, electric guitars, and horns.
