Don Cannon - There Goes The Neighbourhood is more than just drums-it's a piece of Don's personal contribution to hip-hop. He's had the chance to influence the game by shaping sounds that balance tradition with innovation. Using tools like the Ensoniq ASR-10, a vintage cassette recorder, and modern VSTs in Ableton, these drums were crafted to feel raw, textured, and soulful-just like the records that inspired Don.
Crafted using Ableton Live with a blend of modern VSTs, the classic Ensoniq ASR-10 keyboard, and a lo-fi cassette recorder, each sound reflects a balance of grit and soul. Whether you're flipping samples or building from scratch, this collection brings his unique flavor to the hip-hop game. It's the perfect balance between his signature take on it while keeping the roots alive to push the sounds forward.
