It’s impossible to deny the influence that 90s dance music is having on the current musical landscape. Artists and producers such as Kolter, Josh Baker, Sweeley, and many more are all revisiting the classic sounds of the 90’s. The unmistakable Korg M1, Roland’s 808, 909, and 303, and the SH101 all being fundamental to the era, reworked and reinvented while representing the original sound that started it all.

We’ve included classic tones from vintage synths, used boutique and classic analogue drum machines to give authentic 90s beats, while we’ve also dug deep into lesser-known rompers such as the EMU Orbit 9090, Quasimidi Rave-o-lution, and even Roland’s vintage JV range to represent the original sound of classic 90’s house and rave. We’ve meticulously reverse-engineered some of our favourite crate digs from the 90’s, giving the results the full production treatment to deliver an inspiring and flexible collection of sounds that perfectly bridge the current buzz sound on the dancefloor with that energy and vibe from back in the day.

Inspiration from the pioneers such as Todd Terry, Lil Louis, and Laurent Garnier is in abundance, while we remained laser focused on current trends while respecting the amazing vibe of Quadrant Park or the Hacienda. Touches of electro, rave, hardcore, and early house reflect that melting pot of sound the 90s and early 2000’s became.
