2. The Licensee may use the Sounds for commercial purposes within original musical compositions (i.e. when they don't appear in isolation or as sound effects).
3. Licensor reserves any other rights not expressly granted to you in this Agreement.
4. A right to use the Sounds is granted to the Licensee only and is NOT transferable.
5. This license expressly forbids resale, relicensing or other distribution of these Sounds, either as they exist or any modification thereof. You cannot sell, loan, rent, lease, assign, upload to or download from any server, or transfer all or any part of the Sounds to another user, or for use in any competitive product such as, but not limited to, sample library product.
6. Licensor will not be responsible if the Sounds does not fit the particular purpose of the Licensee.

Step into the time-honored melodies of yesteryear with the remarkable “Folk Fiddle” presented to you by none other than Organic Loops, home to the most enchanting samples. Folk Fiddle is a collection of marvelous strings intertwined to weave a tapestry of heartfelt melodies and rustic charm, ready to bring your compositions to life at a tempo range of 85-115 BPM.
Performed by Ben Weedon with production and recording being done by Michael Tedstone, Folk Fiddle includes a selection of clean and ornamented string phrases from English, Irish and, Scottish folk tunes. It also features a set of chords and riffs to accompany these tunes and useful notes and harmony phrases to complement them. The pack provides a large range of lengths from short, muted notes to full melody phrases and sustained tones. Picked patterns and some extra bowed instruments such as a balalaika have also been included for more wild and messy sound effects.
Folk Fiddle was recorded on an old 1840s French violin, a modern English 5-string violin, and a modern English viola hand-crafted by Ben in his workshop. A combination of an AKG 414 ULS and a Neumann U87 was used for its neutrality and renowned airy clarity.
The samples are provided in their dry state to preserve the unique character of each instrument and provide a rare opportunity for producers to bring the flavour of live strings into their work through these sounds which have not been overly tamed.
