UNIVERSAL 808 KICKS

There are a multitude of 808 drum packs around including our very own TR-808 The Drum Machine which are constructed of original samples directly from the authentic Roland TR-808 modue, but we wanted to go one step further and focus exclusively on 808 kick drums. Rather than just supply the original 808 kicks we decided to push sonic boundaries and design a kick drum pack of 300 new 808 style kick drums. Ranging from subtlety pushed 808 sub kicks through to mind bending, overly saturated 808 monsters, this will be the only pack of 808 kicks you will ever own.

Due to the diverse nature of the kick drums we ensured that a multitude of genres were covered including Trap, Hip Hop, Drum & Bass, EDM, Progressive House, Trance, Techno, Hardstyle, Movie FX and more. It was paramount for us to spend a lot of time on this Zenhiser pack creating custom kicks that you've heard before and utterly new sub sonics to add a brand new dimension to your tracks. All the 808 kicks were then separated into 6 folders, short, short layered, medium, long, falling and fx. Each folder within the pack was designed for a specific purpose:

Short: Designed with fast attack, heavy bottom and a fast release. Perfect for Trap & Hip Hop

Short Layered: Designed with a little less sub harmonics then layered with sharp attack clicks plus a heavy body. Perfect for EDM, Progressive House & Trance

Medium: Designed with super warm lower frequencies, more depth and little more length. Perfect for any Urban genre

Long: Designed with extra length, more saturation and a broad sub sonic sweep. Perfect for use as a bassline sound or bass FX

Falling: Designed with various pitch falls to replicate the samples used in Blockbuster movies. Perfect for movie fx or impacts before drops

FX: Time to let loose with our sonic skills and create incredibly diverse bass monsters. Perfect for everything harder including Hardstyle & Hard Techno

As you can see "Universal 808 Kicks" is one of the most diverse 808 kick drum sample packs ever created, this was our intention ensuring an 808 kick pack that could be used in nearly every studio around the globe. In true Zenhiser style we used a multitude of outboard fx and hardware to capture tone, warmth and a sonic character never heard before in 808 kicks.
