These sounds were simmered from the ground up by Carlo Covelli, innovative Rome-based composer, musician, sound designer and producer. Covelli debuted as OGM909 the early oughts while organizing hardcore parties in the heart of Italy with his crew Hardcoreultras. With roots as a classical violinist, he expertly blends electronic and experimental music with compositional nuance, often adding field recordings and words in unique homage to music concrete.
All about the hybrid, his band Union Drama mixes classic rock with dance music and experimental electronic, and his production company Sound2C houses his audiovisual installations, sound design and cinematic work, and videomapping projects. As label founder of Avanti Records, Covelli also releases an unstoppable roster of vinyl, CD and digital tracks. Now his versatility and sharp ears have paved a path straight to Industrial Strength and your Daw.
