Jab O' Starks and Clyde Stubblefield are some of the world's most sampled drummers, and in something of a coup, Toontrack have worked with the men themselves to produce this bumper-pack of percussive funk hijinks. And its uses are more diverse than you'd think ? Hip hop producers wanting a more natural vibe, house heads looking to tap into warm, vintage sounds or even leftfield thinkers inspired by the likes of Supermayer's use of 'real' drums will have a lot to be excited about here. The package has its own fairly uncomplicated interface which is easy to get accustomed to, compatible across the board, this is funkin' marvelous. Shaft!
